The magnificent natural beauty of the Haeundae and Gijang areas of the city will be developed into a hub for Asian tourism and convention by building world-class tourist attractions and through the expansion of convention facilities.


Busan City will establish the East Busan Tourist Complex with a world-class theme park and year-round tourist attractions in the Gijang region. A large-scale tourist resort complex will be built at Haeundae Beach, the nation's leading tourist destination and also a special tourist zone.


Busan City will embark on the expansion of Haeundae's BEXCO Center's exhibition and convention facilities in preparation for the future projected growth in business and the exhibition and convention industry.

Haeundae Tourist Resort: two 84-story buildings, 101-story building (including convention facilities, condominium)


BEXCO expansion: Exhibition Hall (20,000㎡), Auditorium (4,000 seats), parking lot, etc.
