“Enjoy free movies and romance at Gwangalli Beach!”

Suyeong-gu office has announced a plan to set up an outdoor theater at the north end of Gwangalli Beach. Free movies will be offered on the “Visual Interactive Screen,” which is one of the art works at the Busan New Media Outdoor Art Museum.

The theater will screen various genres of classic films every Saturday at 8:00 p.m. starting in March and every Friday through Sunday in July and August during the summer season.

A themed film festival is also expected to be held at the beach theater during the Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) in October.
