Yongdusan Park reopened on July 1 following recent remodeling work over the last three months.

CJ Foodville, the private contractor selected to remodel Busan Tower and the Palgakjeong (octagonal pavilion) of Yongdusan Park, had completed its remodeling work of the park.

Busan Tower comprises the tower (exhibition hall, gift shop, photo studio, and observatory) and octagonal pavilion. The Busan Tower observatory is installed with AR and VR media-based attractions (VR telescope, Window mapping show) and real-time video channel between Busan Tower and N Seoul Tower. The food and beverage section with VIPS burger, snack bar, and A Twosome Place opened at the octagonal pavilion.

Busan City is scheduled to establish a media makeover of Busan Tower, to improve the park facilities to provide more convenience to Korean and overseas tourists by this December.

An official of Busan City said, “Yongdusan Park will be recreated as a one-stop tourist attraction for shopping, food and sightseeing in the downtown area.”

Busan Tower hours are from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The admission fee is 8,000 won for adults and 6,000 won for children ages from 2 to 12. For more information, please call the Busan Tower at (051) 661-9393 or visit its website at http://busantower.net
