“AD STARS 2017”, an event organized by AD STARS Organizing Committee under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Busan Metropolitan City, etc., will be held at Exhibition Center 1 and Convention Hall of BEXCO for three days from August 24th (Thur.) to 26th (Sat.).
The 10th annual AD STARS will extend the existing line up of programs such as seminars and exhibitions to the digital marketing space that is based on digital technologies beyond the existing advertisement creative under the theme of “Creativity +-x÷ Technology.”
In terms of conference, the 10th anniversary special program consists of five sessions. The sessions will showcase advertisements related to the fourth Industrial Revolution, a hot topic around the globe as well as the changes in digital marketing. The conferences will not be focused on the existing advertisement creative. Rather, the conferences in the areas of digital marketing and technology will be organized as a separate track. This setup is identical to and in line with that of the previous year when the conferences were first introduced. A total of over 40 global conferences will be held.
In terms of the exhibition, there will be a space to see the 10-year history of AD STARS in addition to the existing exhibition programs. Visitors will have an opportunity to see displays including prize-winning works and global public service advertisements. Moreover, the latest digital technologies such as digital signage, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) will be utilized to attract the attention of the exhibition attendees. In addition, AD STARS has entered a business agreement with the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) this year and will actively encourage the 14 member countries of the AFAA to submit works and participate in the exhibition.
