To celebrate the coming of Spring, Cinematheque Pusan will screen four art films, which capture everyday life as a special moment, from March 2 until 18.
The films to be screened are ¡®I've loved you so long¡¯, ¡®Synecdoche,
- <Into Great Silence> drew over 70,000 moviegoers through word of mouth, even though it was released on a small scale for only a short period of time. The release of the film is in answer to continuous demands by Busan¡¯s movie fans for it to be rescreened.
- <Little Ashes> is about the young life and loves of artist Salvador Dalí
- <Synecdoche, New York> is the debut film of director Charlie Kaufman who won the 2004 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for <Eternal Sunshine>.
- <I¡¯ve loved you so long> (in French, <Il y a longtemps que je t'aime>) is a 2008 French drama written and directed by Philippe Claudel.
