Train

The Saemaul train, provides the most economic long distance transportation. The trains are equipped with wireless public phones and a restaurant. A slightly slower train Mugunghwa provides great convenience as it is connected with most cities in Korea.

KR PASS (Korea Railroad)

The KR PASS is the Korean Non-resident (foreigner) pass for railroad travel similar to EURAIL and JR PASS. You may purchase the KR PASS at overseas travel agent or ticket office and then exchange the voucher at the designated exchange office to the KR PASS, a registered ticket, to travel all over Korea in any railroad lines for the duration of the effective period regardless of the number of usage or seating class(except a few designated subway and tour rails).
