Busan Grand Sale 2012
○ Period: January 9 ~ February 29, 2012
○ Venues: Major tourist attractions in Busan including Haeundae, Nampo-dong, Gwangalli and Seomyeon
○ Eligibility: All foreign tourists and foreign residents in Korea
○ Sales event held by participating shopping, lodging, food, culture, tourism, beauty and health businesses. Discounts ranging from 5 percent to 70 percent, free admission and free gifts offered (on presentation of a discount coupon)
(82 companies and 2,493 retailers are participating in the Grand Sale (including chain stores and branch stores): 799 shops, 16 lodging facilities, 182 food and beverage outlets, 368 banks, 1,108 convenience stores and supermarkets, and 20 entertainment spots and tour operators)
○Discount coupon type: membership card, paper coupons on the leaflet, online coupons from the website at www.koreagrandsale.or.kr, and mobile coupon system.
○Discount Coupon Pick Up Locations: Gimhae Airport, Coastal Ferry Terminal, International Passenger Ferry Terminal, Tourist Information Centers, Busan Foundation of International Activities (BFIA), Korea Tourism Organization, and hotels. (Available from the beginning of January, 2012)
