Our city is managing a number of welfare facilities for women and children who are having difficulty maintaining a basic standard of living.
We encourage various policies for women's improvement to match those of 21st century. Improvements the expansion of women's participation in society, sexual equality and strengthening of counselling services. We especially want to solve child rearing problems.(the single biggest problem for women's social life) Busan actively and positively helps the expansion of special nurturing facilities, by providing free nurturing for low-income bracket families.
In order to make women safe from possible sexual violence, the city provides a variety of counseling and guidance services staffed by professional counselors.
